Late Eunice: She wants sinners saved - Pastor Adeboye

  General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of
God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed why
he will not seek vengeance against killers of Abuja
preacher, Deaconess Eunice Olawale Elisha.
Forty-two-year old Mrs Elisha was hacked to death by
hoodlums on June 9 at Gbazango-West area of Kubwa,
a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory while
preaching early in the morning.
She was an assistant pastor at the RCCG, Divine Touch
parish, Old NEPA road, Phase 4, Kubwa, before she
was slashed in the neck and stabbed in the stomach
by suspected religious fanatics.
Adeboye, fondly called Daddy G.O by his admirers,
said contrary to calls by eminent Nigerians that he
should seek vengeance against killers of the
evangelist, he would not do so.
He said such move would be counterproductive just as
it would be contrary to what the deceased wanted and
stood for when she was martyred.
According to the revered man of God, if Dcns Elisha
was actually preaching to win souls for Jesus Christ, it
would be unscriptural and anti-Christ to seek to kill
the same souls she sought to save.
Adeboye made the declaration on the occasion of the
second day of the ongoing Ministers Conference at the
Redemption Camp, Kilometer 46, Lagos – Ibadan
Expressway on Friday morning ahead the 64 annual
convention starting August 1.
“I’m not looking for vengeance. I won’t listen to
people asking me to seek vengeance.
“I won’t pursue the case. That’ll be contrary to what
she wanted.
“She wanted them saved, not killed.
“What will their killing do for me?,” the 74-year-old
cleric queried.
Teaching on the topic, “Importance of Mercy,”
Adeboye said since every Christian did not know when
they would die, the time to truly seek God was now.
Making an example out of the slain Mrs Elisha whom
he said was not aware she won’t return home alive on
that fateful day, the Ifewara-born cleric warned that
the end of the age was imminent, hence the
prevalence of vices all over the world.
He said the murdered evangelist finished well and
was, no doubt, sitting at the right hand of her Saviour
for whom she paid the supreme price.
“Recently, some hoodlums went to murder my
daughter in Abuja.
“She was doing her morning cry that morning as she
usually did, armed with a megaphone and her Bible.
“An Imam was said to have sent some hoodlums to
drive her away, but they did something else.
“She didn’t know she won’t return home that day.
“She finished well. She finished strong
“What a beautiful way to go. She’s gone to be with the
Lord,” he stated glowingly.
The man of God said that his joy was predicated on
the fact that another soul was waiting for him in
Heaven.
“My joy is that she finished well and I have additional
soul waiting to welcome me in Heaven when it is my
time,” Adeboye noted.
It will be recalled that husband of the slain evangelist,
Pastor Elisha had, earlier, expressed misgivings in
killing whoever was caught in connection with the
murder, saying he would rather they gave their lives to
Jesus Christ.
Describing his wife as a martyr, he said: “I see her as a
martyr, and she died for Christ. And whether the
people are caught or not, they should forgive them;
my prayer is that if they can accept Christ, that will be
a gain to Christ.”
The slain lady evangelist, who left behind his husband,
aged father, mother and seven children, was buried
last Saturday in Abuja.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta
(MEND) and the Federal Government currently engaged
in a dialogue through the oil companies and security
agencies have reached far-reaching compromises,
including the release of former militant leader, Henry
Okah, in prison in South Africa and Charles Okah,
incarcerated in Nigeria.
They also agreed that ex-militant leader, Government
Ekpemupolo , alias Tompolo, would not be harassed
by government if he makes himself available as a
delegate on MEND Aaron Team 2, while the leader of
the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu,
would be released on condition that he renounces the
agitation for “Biafra Republic.”

MEND in a statement by spokesperson, Jomo Gbomo,
today (Saturday) announced other breakthroughs in
the discussions that will end the revolt in the South-
South and South East regions in a jiffy.
However, it said the recalcitrant Niger Delta Avengers,
NDA, still has opportunity to embrace peace failing
which a combination of military forces and volunteers
in the region, would smoke them out.
The statement read: “The Movement for the
Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) is the only
militant group from the Niger Delta region who are
presently engaged in a dialogue with the Federal
Government of Nigeria – through oil companies and
security agencies -with a view to resolving the current
Niger Delta crisis.”
“Thus far, the deliberations have been fruitful, various
concessions and guarantees have already been
secured. Some of which include, but are not limited
to: Release of Henry Okah, Charles Okah and Obi
Nwabueze; Review of the life sentence handed to Mr.
Edmund Ebiware based on a proposal put forward by
the Aaron Team representative for Abia and Imo
states, Senator Adolphus Wabara.
“Also, conditional release of IPOB leader, Mr. Nnamdi
Kanu and others if they renounce their agitation for a
“Biafra Republic,” the group said.
Furthermore, MEND said they agreed: “That Mr.
Government Ekpemupolo shall not be arrested,
harassed and/or intimidated whenever he makes
himself available as a delegate of the MEND Aaron
Team.”
It added: “That international arbitrator and conflict
negotiator, American Dr. Judith Asuni shall be
accepted as the representative of the Niger Delta
Avengers (NDA) on the MEND Aaron Team; that the
criminal charges against Urhobo freedom fighter, Mr.
Kelvin Prosper Oniarah shall be reviewed.
“That the life sentence which was handed to seven
soldiers in 2008, who actively supported the Niger
Delta struggle be reviewed under the Presidential
Amnesty Programme. The affected persons are:
Suleiman Alabi Akubo, Major. Mathias Peter, SGT,
Alexander Davou, L.Cpl., Moses Nwaigwe, L.Cpl.,
Nnandi Anene, L.Cpl. Taatihi Emmanuel, L.Cpl and
Caleb Bawa, PTE,” it said. .
“However, one of the most immediate and urgent
fallout of the ongoing dialogue is the imperative for
the Federal Government and MEND to jointly and
separately take proactive steps to rescue and secure
the region. This is in the event that the recalcitrant
Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) continuing on its senseless
and politically-motivated path of attacks on the
country’s oil assets,” it noted.
MEND asserted: “To this end, both parties agreed that
the Special Forces of the Nigerian Army should
commence the purely routine but strategic military
exercise code-named “Operation Crocodile Tears”;
while MEND would commence a meet-the Government-
Actors-and-People tour of the Niger Delta region
code-named “Operation Moses”.

Celestial Church of God sealed in ogun state - Community

Five days after National Security Civil Defense Corp
(NSCDC) rescued the malnourished 9-year-old boy,
Korede Taiwo, from the Celestial Church of Christ
( CCC ), key of Joy parish, Wasinmi Ajibawo, in Ado
Odo/Ota local council of Ogun state, the church has
been sealed off by the highest hierarchy of the CCC,
from Imeko area of the state.
The Baale of the community, Chief Saliu Ayinla
Babayanju, disclosed to Guardian when he visited the
community and said that the land, where the church
is located, would immediately be seized by the
community.
As at the time of the visit on Tuesday, July 26, the
entire premises of the church, sitting on two plots of
land, was deserted. The main entrance of the church
was barricaded with bamboo leaves and white and
blue velvet.
All the members, especially those seeking
spiritual help, had deserted the place, as there was
nobody in sight but for three officials of the NSCDC,
who came on a motorcycle, left hurriedly since the
entire area has become desolate.
However, Korede, who was chained for weeks by his
biological father, Francis Taiwo, for stealing his
money, yesterday pleaded with the wife of Ogun state
governor, Olufunso Amosun, not to allow anybody
return him to his father for whatever reason.The frail
looking Taiwo is now on admission at the Federal
Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, for
thorough medical attention. He made the plea when
Amosun paid him a visit at his hospital bed
yesterday.Korede, who spoke in Yoruba at the
children’s ward, said he was not convinced that his
father would not do a worse things to him if he is put
in his custody.He could barely speak above whispers
due to exhaustion and starvation by his father and
stepmother, as Amosun strained her ears to hear
him.
Amosun’s wife was accompanied to the hospital by
the Attorney – General and commissioner for justice,
Olumide Ayeni, the Commissioner for Education,
Science and Technology, Modupe Mujota,
Commissioner for Health, Babatunde Ipaye, and
officials of the Women Affairs and Social
Development.
Mujota revealed that the first family in Ogun,
Governor Ibikunle Amosun and his wife, Olufunso,
have adopted the boy, adding that “all efforts will be
made to ensure that Korede excels in life.”
she said: “It is reassuring the boy is doing well
despite all what he was subjected to. We were
worried that we will see a dejected and withdrawn
child, but we can see Korede that is active with his
mind alert. Although, he looks smaller than what a
child of his age should be, he is recuperating very
fast.”

2 wounded, 3 dead in a shootout

Three people were shot dead yesterday, during a
shootout between hoodlums and some officers
attached to the Federal Operations Zone A, Ikeja, of
the Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, at White Sand
community in Ijora Badia area of Lagos State.
Three others, among who was a Customs officer, also
sustained gunshot injuries.
According to Vanguard, trouble started when a man
named Ojo was allegedly attacked and stabbed to
death by some Hausa boys in the area. The Yoruba
youths in the area staged a protest that became
violent.
“For long, these Hausa boys have been
attacking people here. They waylay
people, dispose them of cash and
belongings. Even rulers of both ethnic
groups are aware of the issue.”Tajudeen
Shamsudeen, a resident in the community
said The demolition of shanties in the
community yesterday increased the
tension in the area.
While the Hausa community claim the demolition is
one-sided as its only their houses that were
demolished, the Yoruba community deny the claim
saying it was on the order of the state government.
In the course of the demolition, some Customs
officers, who residents of the area claim were invited
by the Seriki Hausa, the leader of the Hausa
community, stormed the community in three patrol
vehicles at about 2:30p.m.
They were alleged to have shot into the air to scare
off hoodlums in the area. The hoodlums were said to
have resisted the Customs officers who allegedly
attempted to stop the demolition, an action that led
to a shootout, during which three persons sustained
gunshot wounds.
One of the bullets from the hoodlums hit a Customs
officer who was later rushed to the hospital. One of
those hit by a stray bullet was identified to be Azeez
Tajudeen. Eyewitnesses said he was first taken to the
police station for a police report, before being
rushed to an undisclosed hospital.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the
Lagos state Police command, Dolapo Badmus, said
contrary to eyewitnesses, only one person died
during the attack
“The community and the police were on a
joint operation of raiding black spots

within the community and arresting

suspected criminals yesterday. In the
process, some officers of the Nigerian
Customs Service officers, who were with
officials of the National Emergency
Management Agency, NEMA, had an
encounter with some of the hoodlums.
They fired some shots and three people
were hit. As a result, one death was
recorded, while two others are receiving
treatment in the hospital. Policemen are
not involved.”she said

Pastor accused of adultery defends himself

Reports shown  on the social media alleging that Prophet Obi O. Obi of Anchor of the Restoration Church located at Owufuju Street, Asaba, Delta State,was caught committing adultery.

The story was accompanied with pictures showing him in his panties holding his church banner as he was being paraded on the streets. No one could havedoubted the authenticity of that story.

But Prophet (Dr.) Obi O. Obi called Olu Famous,publisher of OluFamous.Com on phone and gave hisown version of the saga – what really happened.

Prophet Obi said that he was set up by a lady who used to be the Secretary of his church but was dismissed few months back and she became bitter. How did it start? He said he received a call from someone who sounded distressed, telling him that there was an emergency and begged him to come quickly to pray for a sick person who was about to die.

He was given a certain address and he rushed down as a Prophet who doesn’t hesitate to help anyone in distress. 

Unfortunately, as soon as he got to theaddress he was kidnapped, he was bundled into a vehicle anddriven back to his church. 

He said the guys who abducted him assaulted him and accused him ofsleeping with a married woman, without mentioning the name of any woman to him.

So, it wasn’t as if Prophet Obi was caught red handed sleeping with a married woman as was alleged.When they got to his church, the guys brought him down from the vehicle, forced him to take off all he was putting on, he then sighted the same lady who hesacked as the Secretary of his church.

That was how he got to know she was the one who sent them to disgrace him and rubbish his church.

Prophet Obi said two of the guys who kidnapped him from the compound he was invited to and took himback to the front of his church, had guns and shot in the air, claiming to be SARS.

He said he had to “corporate” with them, to avoid being shot. And he used his church’s programme banner to cover himself after the guys had strippedhim to his pants.

 He said that nobody could comeclose to help him because two of the guys had guns.

He said all the allegations against him are false, and that was why no woman was seen in the pictures thatwere sent to the social media. 

Prophet Obi added thatthe incident happened since on Wednesday and thatPolice is now involved.

 They have obtained the phonenumber that was used to call him and have assuredhim that all those involved in the CONSPIRACY wouldbe tracked down.

He said everyone should disregard those picturescirculating, saying he only played along to save his life.

I refused offers from Beckham, Others to join united - zlatan

Manchester United's new striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic

revealed that he turned down David Beckham and MLS
for a chance to work with his "good friend" Jose
Mourinho at Manchester United.

The Swede left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last
season and had a number of offers, only to decide to
join the Red Devils and play in the Premier League for
the first time in his career.

With Beckham's Miami-based franchise already
purchasing land for their new stadium, the former
England captain tried to convince his former PSG
teammate to join him as the club targets to join MLS by
2018.

"David is a good friend of mine, and he has asked me to
play for his [Miami] team," Ibrahimovic told Goal.com.
"For now, I want to achieve big things with Manchester
United, but I have a lot of respect for the MLS, and
anything is possible.

"I am not ruling out the MLS. Once I had decided to
leave PSG there were many offers, but with Zlatan that is
normal.

"I know that teams from the MLS were interested, but
the opportunity to play for Manchester United, and of
course to work with my good friend Jose Mourinho again,
was impossible to turn down."

Ibrahimovic will turn 35 in October, and with the
charismatic striker opting for a one-year contract at
United, the player hinted that a move to MLS is possible
as he targets to play on for another five years.

"I would never rule out the MLS in the future. I have a
contract with Manchester United, but I feel in great
shape," he added. "I feel as though I could play until I
am 40. It is impossible to predict the future."

The striker missed Manchester United's tour in China,
but finally joined up with his new teammates in
Manchester on Tuesday.

He will likely put up appearance when United travel to his

Raiola demands €25m for pogba's transfer - sources

Juventus are refusing to budge on their €120 million

asking price for Paul Pogba, putting his anticipated move
to Manchester United in doubt, sources close to the club
have told ESPN FC.
The Italian champions are also insisting that the English
club pay all representative fees for the deal -- namely
the €25m fee for agent Mino Raiola -- meaning the total
price could end up at around €145m in addition to his
wages of around €300,000 per week.
Sources told ESPN FC that more negotiation is required
and that, if the deal is to be done, United will probably
need some leeway from the Italian club. The Old
Trafford hierarchy are currently reluctant to pay the full
asking price.
The principles of the deal had been agreed at the start
of Euro 2016, with Juventus accepting they would sell,
but the Italian club are in a position of strength and
want to maximise what they can get for the French
midfielder.
After completing the acquisition of Gonzalo Higuain on
Tuesday, Juventus chief Beppe Marrotta said talks over
Pogba had come to a standstill.
"Pogba to Manchester United? We will see when
everything is over. Right now everything has stopped," he
told reporters.
Earlier, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri laughed off a
question about Pogba's potential fee after 2-1 win over
Tottenham in the International Champions Cup in
Australia.
"That's what it is, I don't assign prices to the players,"
Allegri said at a news conference. "Each player has a
value, some lower, some higher."
Sources in Italy and Manchester also told ESPN FC that,
despite being happy to join United, Pogba would still
prefer to sign for Real Madrid and has not completely
given up hope of a move to the Bernabeu.
The deal may now depend on whether United will decide
to pay the full amount, or if Juventus budge on the fee,
but sources have indicated that any conclusion to the talk
might still be some way away.

Fraud: Nigerian airforce recruit impostors caught

Nigerian Air Force operatives have arrested two
undergraduates out to defraud unsuspecting applicants
of the ongoing Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Recruitment
Exercise 2016 and they were paraded today before the
press in Abuja. The duo, Endurance Ehichoya (Principal
Suspect) and David Eghosa (Accomplice), both 21 years
old and students of Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma,
were arrested in Ekpoma by NAF Intelligence operatives
with the assistance of Zenith Bank officials.
Their arrest followed a message posted on Facebook by
Endurance Ehichoya on 25 June this year, requesting
applicants to contact the Air Secretary, AVM CN Chukwu,
through the GSM Number 08145038139 for enlistment
assistance into the NAF. The message also contained the
photograph of the Air Secretary to lure their would-be
clients into believing that the scam is real.
When contacted on the said phone number, Endurance
had requested the caller to pay the sum of N75,000 into
his Savings Account (Account No: 6231232675) with
Fidelity Bank. However, the caller, wanting to retrieve as
much information as possible to track down the suspect,
had requested that he be provided another bank account
on the ground that there is no Fidelity Bank around his
area. This made Endurance to drop the details of his
friend, David Eghosa’s bank account with Zenith Bank
(Account No: 2111200283). The NAF, working with the
officials of Zenith Bank, then deployed his security
operatives from 81 Air Maritime Group Benin to Ekpoma
to arrest David Eghosa who was subsequently flown to
Abuja for further investigation.
Realizing that Eghosa had been arrested, his relations
got the Police to arrest Endurance Ehichoya, and handed
him over to the NAF. He also was flown to Abuja by the
NAF for further investigation.
While both suspects confessed to operating multiple
bank accounts, David Eghosa confirmed he knows his
friend, Endurance Ehichoya, is a serial scammer,
indulging in recruitment and local online dating scam
using ladies’ names and photographs to defraud men
online. Two of the Facebook accounts operated by
Endurance to commit fraud online are Bridget Ehichoya
Violet which he later renamed Ella Jonny Frosh, and
Creflo A Dollar. The suspects have now been handed
over to the police for further investigation.

Young female doctor dies in auto crash

This beautiful young doctor identified as Dr. Nneoma

Uhuegbu died in a ghastly motor accident around Umuikaa on her

way to Umuahia from Aba last night. She was on her way

to Umuahia to collect her induction gown as a fresh

medical doctor. Her induction is on the 28 at ABSU.

According to reports, 12 passengers and driver involved

in the accident survived except for her. This is so sad!

and estranged hubby, Tee Billz' are going to reconcile

any time soon.

According to him, he claimed predicting that the Okoye twins

'Psquare' were going to get back together and it

happened. It is just a matter of time before Tee Billz and

Tiwa reconciles.

He wrote, " If I had placed my bet on these brothers

coming back... I would have won. Anyway, one of the

guys that was there the day I emphatically said they

would sort their differences out and get back together

called me to say "Ali, I had to call you, because you said

so" and he added, "but that Tiwa them own go hard". So

I asked him "You wan bet?"... And he said, "I no trust

Buhari's Evil Plot Against Christians Exposed

Editor’s note: Ishaku Abdul’rahman Mohammed, a

man who converted to Christianity, writes open letter

to Christians. The author calls them “senseless” and

advises not to be lured with to change their religion.

to use their brains. From what I see today in Nigeria I

am very certain that Muslims would not need to use a

violent jihad to Islamize Nigeria. Christians

themselves will be used by Muslims to Islamize

Nigeria. Afterwards the Muslims will turn against the

Christians that helped them. These are the type

Muslims call the useful idiots.

Just ask yourself how Muslim nations became Islamic

nations? Is there any record of them doing

evangelical work? Did they tell people about how

wonderful their prophet Mohammed is? How he raped

women? How he beheaded nine hundred Jews in one

day? How he had sex with a nine-year old girl? How

he was demon possessed for one year? How he could

not perform a miracle? How he is a prophet without a

prophecy? How he sold slaves for weapons of war?

If Muslims did not do evangelism how come there are

58 nations of the world who say they are Islamic

countries? Including countries that used to be

Christian countries.

Many Christians will be lured with money to change

to Muslim and by boyfriend girlfriend and inter

marriage. Remember, the project is being sponsored

by Saudi Arabia and Nigeria government therefore;

money to convert Christians to Muslim will not be a

problem. Please don’t tell me you can never be lured

with money.

Ways to Islamize Nigeria:

– Buhari just registered Nigeria in the Islamic

coalition against terrorism led by Saudi Arabia.

– The first major conference Buhari would bring to

Nigeria is the International Islamic Conference

– Muslims are now using El Rufai Kaduna state as a

test case to see how they can stop Christians from

preaching the gospel not even for you to listen to a

gospel message in your car. Who knows they may

even ban gospel music.

– Other northern states are copying Mr El Rufai’s law.

– Fulani herdsmen are sacking Christian villages in

the north.

How I converted to Christianity:

I used to be a Muslim but now a Christian. I have

been in hiding because anyone born a Muslim and

converts to Christianity has a death sentence on his

head. It is even worse now that they know I have

decided to reveal their hidden agenda to the Nigerian

Christians who stupidly voted Buhari.

So much has happened since my last letter and God

willing, I will continue to educate you as things

unfold. Please pray for me because the forces of

darkness are arrayed against me for telling the truth.

the Lord Jesus. The same Jesus I rejected all my life

as Muslim. The same Jesus I called a prophet of Allah

Muslims occupy a lot of high positions in PMB

government:

Have you noticed that whenever any Christian,

occupying a high position in any government agency

is removed only Muslims get to replace him or her?

200 military officers were retired recently and guess

what? They were either southerners or Northern

Christians. As far as the northern Muslim is

concerned, if you are a southerner you are a

Christian. And being a Christian means you are the

worst creatures of Allah. Now you may ask why that is

the peace agreement that their prophet, Mohammed

two years into the peace treaty and that was how

Mecca fell to Islam.

This was Yar A’dua’s plan when he gave the militants

amnesty. Had he lived longer the amnesty would have

been stopped. Buhari actually thought that the

militants had fully disarmed hence he stopped the

amnesty. I guess Jonathan by the leading of the Lord

empowered them even more militarily before he left.

Mohammed said war is deception.

The GMD of NNPC Mr Kachikwu was just relieved of

his position and guess who replaced him? Another

Muslim. Now they have started instituting corruption

charges against him. One down more to go. Soon

Amaechi will go too. Almost every Christian is out of

government. All the military chiefs are Muslims.

Custom, immigration etc are all headed by Muslims

now.

Yet my fellow senseless Christians still cannot see

what is happening. Did you know that the new IG of

police is also a Muslim? Do you know how many

senior officers were retired just to pave the way for

the new IG? Guess the first thing he did? Accused the

former IG of stealing 24 police vehicles. Thank God

that alarm was proven false but they never give up.

They must find some frivolous charges against him.

Buhari made huge promises that got people ecstatic:

Talking about a Christian president. Do you know that

in Islam it is forbidden for a Christian to hold a

position of authority over Muslims? Since they could

not deny the achievements of our Christian ex-

president Dr Goodluck Jonathan they spun a huge

propaganda around corruption. He was vilified as the

most corrupt president Nigeria ever had. The press

had a field day reporting monumental corruption

under Jonathan. They knew the only way they could

get the attention of the Nigerian is to mention

corruption and we all fell for the deception hook, line

and sinker. I will be naive to say there was no

corruption under GEJ. No government in the world

can claim to be corruption free. Yet it was made to

look like Jonathan had stolen the wealth of the nation

and crippled the economy. Buhari made huge

promises that got people ecstatic. He was seen as the

Messiah. Nigerians refused to see the economic

growth under GEJ.

Even when Nigeria was rated as the third and first

fastest growing economy in the world and Africa no

one paid any heed to it. Nigeria became the number

one investment destination in Africa yet it seemed

like it was all fairy tale. Today, just one year after GEJ

we are no longer in the list of growing economies of

the world. The effects are everywhere. The Nigerian

economy is almost grounding to a halt. And guess

what? They have now spun propaganda that what we

are experiencing now is the effect of the misrule of

GEJ. Again, Christians are buying this crap and

swallowing it like a hot plate of delicious food. Eight

months into the Buhari regime, the bureau of

national statistics releases a report that over 4.5

million Nigerians have lost their jobs under Buhari.

Time will fail me to expatiate.

Christians, Muslims and corruption:

Have you noticed how Christians and Muslims are

treated when it comes to corruption cases? They go

to the media to convict people of corruption and

when they eventually take them to court and the

court gives a verdict they don’t like the disobey the

court order. Mr Fani Kayode was in detention for over

sixty days. You were told that it was because of

corruption. How many Muslims have been so treated?

As far as I know. Only Dasuki is getting that treatment

but again that is understandable. It was Dasuki, then

a very junior officer that arrested Buhari during the

Babangida coup that overthrew Buhari in 1983.

Muslims don’t forgive. The god of Islam requires

Muslims to take vengeance unlike our God that says

vengeance is mine.

The most unfortunate part of this is that we

Christians use our values to judge Muslims yet we

know absolutely nothing about their values. We don’t

know anything about the tenets of that religion.

Mohammed was a very vengeful person. He killed all

those who made fun of him. Even those who

criticized him. That is why Buhari cannot stand

criticism.

19 Dead, 45 Injured at a disabled home in Japan.

At least 19 people were killed and at least 45 wounded in

a knife attack Tuesday at a facility for the handicapped in

a city just west of Tokyo in a rare case of mass violence

in Japan, according to Japanese media reports. Police

said they responded to a call about 2:30 a.m. on

Tuesday from an employee saying that they saw a man

dressed in black clothes holding a weapon in the

grounds of the Tsukui Yamayuri Garden and that

something horrible was happening at the facility in the

city of Sagamihara.

2 hours after the incident, a man turned himself in at a

police station, police in Sagamihara said but left the

knife in his car when he entered the station. Police said a

26-year-old man who was a former staff member

confessed to the stabbings. The suspect reportedly

escaped the facility but then turned himself in as He has

been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and

trespassing. Police said there were several casualties but

did not provide numbers.

Four of the injured are said to be in a serious condition.

Japan's national broadcaster NHK reported the suspect's

name as Tsukui Yamayuri-en.

Television footage showed a number of ambulances

parked outside the facility, with medical and other

rescue workers running in and out. Mass killings are

relatively rare in Japan, which has extremely strict gun-

control laws.

Boko Haram Camps Annihilated In North East-Army

The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani

Usman , on Monday in Lagos said there were no longer

camps of Boko Haram terrorists in the North-Eastern

part of the country.

Usman made the assertion while addressing newsmen at

the inauguration of Strategic Communication Course for

senior officers at the Nigerian Army School of Public

Relations and Information (NASPRI) , Bonny Camp, Lagos.

Usman, while assuring Nigerians that the military was

winning the war against terrorism, said there were no

more terrorists clustered in a particular place in the

area.

“The situation in the North-East has

tremendously improved. The military

operations or the fight against terrorism and

insurgency in the North-East is hinged on

three things.

First, defeating the Boko Haram terrorists

which have been accomplished and making

room to facilitate humanitarian assistance

which is also ongoing.

Then restoration of law and order for good

governance to take place.

We no longer have camps of Boko Haram

terrorists and we no longer have them

conveyed in the territories,’’ he said.

Those that were hitherto close are now open

to the extent that we have trans-border

trade.

Take for instance; just recently, the

important road that links Nigeria, Chad and

Cameroon was just re-opened.

We have come to the point that we can beat

our chest and decisively say we have dealt

with Boko Haram,” Usman said.

On the inauguration of the communication course,

Usman said that training of personnel was paramount,

adding that it would enhance proficiency.

“It is in this regard that the Directorate of

Army Public Relations places high premium

on training of officers and soldiers.

The Nigerian Army School of Public Relations

and Information must remain focused in the

training of officers and soldiers to meet the

need of well trained and skilled manpower.

This is the first of its kind to further

enhance further joint operations of the

armed forces and possibly international

military engagement.

It is my hope that this course will make the

desired impact on all of you and explicit

growth fertilisation of ideas among the

participants.

It is also our desire to see that at the end of

the course, we turn out better informed

senior officers.

Also, they should be well-equipped to

partake in making or taking strategic

decision for the Nigerian army information

and dissemination management,” he added.

Usman thanked the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur

Buratai for improving the Nigerian Army formations.

The NASPRI commandant, Col. John Agim, said the course

was to better equip senior officers who were saddled

with the responsibility of shaping the information

environment.

“As you settle down to face the rigours of this course, I

urge you to take advantage of this training to enhance

your capacity in public relations. Also, enhance your

capacity in information management and by extension in

the profession of arms,” Agim said.

Agim said the course which will run for three months will

be on media planning and crisis management, media

matters and interview skills and digital media influence

including others.

Tim LaHaye author of "Left Behind" Series Dies At 90

The death has been announced of a Christian author and
Evangelical leader Dr. Tim LaHaye .
The family announced the death on the Facebook page of
the ministry he founded – Tim Lahaye Ministries .
“Thrilled as I am that he is where he has always wanted
to be, his departure leaves a void in my soul I don’t
expect to fill until I see him again,” Jenkins said of his
co-author’s passing.
The statement reported that he died in a San Diego area
hospital, just days after suffering a stroke.
LaHaye co-authored the “Left Behind” series with Jerry
Jenkins . The 16-books bestselling fiction novels were
written between 1995 and 2007 and were set in the pre-
rapture, rapture, and post-rapture era.
The series alone sold more than 80 million copies and
topped the best-selling lists of The New York Times, USA
Today , Wall Street Journal , Publishers Weekly , and
Christian Booksellers Association.
LaHaye also penned 60 different titles that sold about 14
million copies in as many as 32 languages.
Lahaye was born on April 27 1926 and was an Air Force
veteran.
In addition to his wife, Dr. LaHaye is survived by four
children; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a
brother, Richard LaHaye ; and a sister, Margaret White.

Looks like there might be trouble in paradise for Rob

The 29-year-old reality star has deleted all photos of 

Blac Chyna from his Instagram account and he also

unfollowed her on the social media app.

Blac Chyna, on the other hand hasn’t updated her

Instagram account in over two weeks, which is an

unusually long absence for her.

The couple went public with their relationship back in

January and got engaged in April. They have a new E!

reality show set to debut around September and it will

span across six one-hour episodes. No official 

statement has been made by the two on the issue. 

Redeemed Pastor abducted in lagos

A Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor simply

identified as Pastor Bajomo, was kidnapped while preparing for

workers meeting just before the Sunday service at the

Isawo, Ikorodu, Lagos branch of the church yesterday

July 24th.

Church members say Bajomo was in the church when

some unidentified persons came in pretending to be

there for service before bringing out their guns and

ordering the pastor to follow them to their vehicle.

A member of the church, Williams, who witnessed the

incident said:

“He was busy preparing for the meeting, when

suddenly some people came in dressed in

beautiful attire and they were taken for members

who had come to worship. It was not until they

pulled out guns before it dawned on us that they

are militants".
